S 690 high strength sheet is one of the strongest steel sheets on the market, it is suitable for high reliability products thanks to its structural properties:

S 690 high strength sheet can be used to make lighter weight products compared to applications using normal steel, or it can be used to greatly increase strength for the same weight. S 690 is actually known by the name "high strength", i.e. in constructions where the material under stress passes its elasticity limit producing a permanent deformation in steel (beyond its yield strength) S 690 does not yield.
